NEPSE Index Sees 16.68 Point Plunge to Close At 2,706.04 Levels, Overall Volume Reached Rs. 8.43 Arba

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lost 16.68 points (0.61%) to close at 2,706.04. This follows a 26.49-point gain in the previous session.

The index opened at 2,724.51, reaching an intraday high of 2,731.81 and a low of 2,700.85. The total turnover stood at Rs. 8.43 Arba, with 21,323,967 shares exchanged across 328 companies through 74,045 transactions.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 68.76 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 573.50.

Two companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Himalayan Power Partner Limited (HPPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.33%.

Among sectors, the Trading Index posted the highest gain of 1.02%, whereas the Hotels and Tourism Index saw the highest decline of 1.36%.
