NEPSE Index Sees Astonishing Gain of 69.80 Points; Nine Stocks Hit Upper Circuit, Turnover Reaches Magnificent Rs. 12.95 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) staged a remarkable comeback, soaring 69.80 points (2.62%) to close at 2,727.58. This follows a 24.50-point gain in the previous session, signaling strong market momentum.

NEPSE opened at 2,662.42 and fluctuated throughout the day, hitting a high of 2,723.92 and a low of 2,662.01. The day's total turnover stood at Rs. 12.95 Arba, with 24,848,079 shares traded across 330 companies in 130,913 transactions.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led in turnover, recording transactions worth Rs. 41.97 crores. Its stock closed at Rs. 1,389.90.

Nine stocks locked in a 10% upper circuit, topping the gainers' list.

Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) took the hardest hit, dropping 10%.

Among sectoral indices, the Microfinance Index posted the highest growth, climbing 4.92%, while the Mutual Fund Index saw the least increase, edging up by 0.17%.
