NEPSE Index Slips 10.98 Points to Close at 2,677.32 Levels, Overall Volume Declined to Rs. 6.96 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit decline of 10.98 points (0.40%) to close at 2,677.32, following a double-digit 11.49-point loss in the previous session.
Opening at 2,684.96, NEPSE fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a high of 2,699.79 and a low of 2,665.72. The total turnover stood at Rs. 6.96 Arba, with 14,443,765 shares traded across 322 companies in 74,864 transactions.
Nepal Republic Media Limited (NRM) led in turnover, recording transactions worth Rs. 24.44 crores. Its stock closed at Rs. 603.
Two scrips hit the 10% upper circuit, topping the gainers' list.
Meanwhile, two saw the steepest decline, dropping 10% each.
Among sectoral indices, the Others Index registered the highest gain, rising 0.23%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 2.07%.
