NEPSE Index Slips Further 14.88 Points to Close at 2,682.15 Levels; Finance Index Suffers Highest Decline

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a decline today, falling by 14.88 points (0.55%) to close at 2,682.15. This follows a previous session decline of 7.66 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,699.26, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,706.58 and a low of 2,676.30. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 5.14 Arba, encompassing 9,583,829 shares traded across 311 companies through 54,622 transactions.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 29.67 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 976.80.
Mithila LaghuBitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL) emerged as the top gainer with a 9.39% increase.
Conversely, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 9.20%.
Among sectoral indices, the Trading Index registered the highest gain, rising 0.60%, while the Finance Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 1.53%.
