NEPSE Index stands at 1166.03 points at the end of 2019, after losing minimal points today

The market today lost minimal of 0.16% or 1.92 points. NEPSE Index stood at 1166.03 points after the last trading day of 2019. The turnover amount stood at Rs.44.22 Crore achieved through trade of 1,302,986 units of shares traded through 6,532 transactions trading scrips of 177 listed companies in the process.
Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) posted the highest turnover at Rs.6.17 Crore with LTP of Rs.974 per share. Promoter Shares of Jyoti Bikas Bank (JBBLPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 120,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.113 per share.
Bishal Bazar Company (BBC) was today’s top gainer as it gained 7.80% or 132 points and closed at Rs.1824 per share. Nepal Telecom (NTC) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.89% or 39 points and closed at Rs.623 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 1.01 points and closed at 252.31 points while Float Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 86.35 points.
