NEPSE Index stands at 1168.03 points after minimal gain today; three companies hit the circuit

The market today gained 0.16% or 1.82 points today after losing points for a brief period. The benchmark index stood at 1168.03 points. The turnover was worth Rs.53.83 Crore achieved through trade of 1,681,838 units of shares traded through 6,164 transactions trading scrips of 175 listed companies in the process.

Sanima Bank Debentures (SAND2085) posted the highest turnover at Rs.4.81 Crore with LTP at Rs.963 per unit. Prime Commercial Bank (PCBL) stood ahead in terms of shares traded with trade of 165,021 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.279 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Nepal Seva Laghubitta (NSEWA) gained 9.89% or 45 points and Kanchan Development Bank (KADBL) gained 9.71% or 20 points. Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) lost 9.93% or 15 points, hitting the negative circuit. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.136 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.5 points and closed at 254.72 points while Float Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 86.55 points.

Trading, Hydropower, Finance and Microfinance were among losing sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
