NEPSE Index Surges By Significant 49.12 Points With Overall Volume of Rs. 6.30 Arba; All Sector Indices Close Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its rise, gaining 49.12 points (1.89%) to close at 2,640.68. This follows a modest 5.32-point increase in the previous session.
Starting the day at 2,601.09, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,640.73 and a low of 2,594.34. A total turnover of Rs. 6.30 Arba was recorded, with 75,540 transactions involving 15,461,264 shares of 312 listed companies.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 29.09 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 1,090 per share.
Similarly, Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in its share price.
In contrast, two scrips recorded the steepest decline of the day, each falling by 10%.
Likewise, the Hydropower Index posted the highest gain, rising by 3.55%, while the Trading Index recorded the smallest increase of 0.46%.
