NEPSE Index Surges By Significant 52.36 Points With Overall Volume of Rs. 9.20 Arba; All Sector Indices Close Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a substantial rise in today’s trading session, climbing by 52.36 points (2.00%) to close at 2,665.45. This robust performance follows a modest gain of 5.08 points in the previous session.
Starting the day at 2,608.27, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,667.23 and a low of 2,614.37.
A total turnover of Rs. 9.20 Arba was recorded, with 90,696 transactions involving 17,692,819 shares of 322 listed companies.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 61.36 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 1,207.80 per share.
Similarly, Two companies topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in share price.
In contrast, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) recorded the steepest decline of the day, falling by 8.21%.
Likewise, the Others Index posted the highest gain, rising by 4.24%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index recorded the smallest increase of 0.08%.
