NEPSE Index Surges Minimal 3.58 Points To Close at 2,661.60 Levels; NGPL Tops Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 10.87 Arba

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 3.58 points (0.13%) to close at 2,661.60. This follows a 2.08-point gain in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,657.75, reaching an intraday high of 2,684.51 and a low of 2,657.37. The total turnover stood at Rs. 10.87 Arba, with 28,438,428 shares exchanged across 314 companies through 89,161 transactions.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 86.17 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 366.50.
Two companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10%.
Among sectors, the Investment Index posted the highest gain of 1.77%, whereas the Finance Index saw the highest decline of 1.05%.
