NEPSE Index Surges Minimal 7.01 Points To Close at 2,696.23 Levels; NGPL Tops Turnover List

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 7.01 points (0.26%) to close at 2,696.23. This follows a 27.14-point gain in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,702.46, reaching an intraday high of 2,704.97 and a low of 2,685.36. The total turnover stood at Rs. 7.26 Arba, with 16,611,532 shares exchanged across 329 companies through 64,360 transactions.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 59.41 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 313.60.
Four companies topped the gainers' list, hitting 10% each.
Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.55%.
Among sectors, the Hydropower Index posted the highest gain of 1.63%, whereas the Others Index saw the highest decline of 1.07%.
