NEPSE Index Witnessed Minimal Loss of 0.12%; Others Index Suffers Steepest Decline

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnesses a 3.44-point (0.12%) decline to close at 2,666.61. This follows a 33.33-point loss in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,671.62, reaching an intraday high of 2,674.88 and a low of 2,631.68. The total turnover stood at Rs. 5.3 Arba, with 10,643,469 shares exchanged across 321 companies through 53,492 transactions.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 59.14 Crores in trades and closing at Rs. 1,678 per share.
Three companies topped the gainers' list, surging 10% each.
Meanwhile, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.85%.
Among sectors, the Manufacturing and Processing Index posted the highest gain of 1.57%, whereas the Others Index saw the highest decline of 0.57%.
