NEPSE Is On Continuous Gaining Momentum ; Records Highest Turnover In Over 11 and Half Months

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 38.14 points, or 1.88%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,060.49 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 27.75 points for the index.

Today the market started with the index opening at 2025.73, hitting an intraday low of 2,025.68, and reaching an intraday high of 2,070.59.

During today's trading, there were 305 different stocks traded in 113,693 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 21,497,619 with a total turnover of Rs. 6.86 Arba, which is the highest turnover NEPSE recorded in past eleven and half months. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 31.78 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.05 Kharba.

Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 26.26 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 149.10.

 

Similarly, Nine companies hit the positive circuit for today.

On the flip side, Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) experienced the highest loss of 7.86% today.

In terms of sector indices, all the sectors closed in green except for "HydroPower Index". The "Microfinance Index" saw the highest gain of 5.53%, while the "HydroPower Index" saw a loss of 0.33%.
