NEPSE Loses 10.25 Points to Close Red for 6th Consecutive Day; CGH Hit Positive Circuit Today As Well

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 10.25 points, or 0.48%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,088.04 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 0.40 points for the index.

Today the market started with the index opening at 2,098.97 hitting an intraday low of 2,083.45, and reaching an intraday high of 2,120.46.

During today's trading, there were 311 different stocks traded in 90,210 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 11,049,949 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.89 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.79 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.30 Kharba.

 

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 25.15 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 657.

 

Similarly, Chandragiri Hills Limited (CGH) and Mid Solu Hydropower Limited (MSHL) hit positive circuit.

 

On the flip side, Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) experienced the highest loss of 10%.

 

In terms of sector indices, Two sectors indices closed in green today. The "Mutual Fund Index" saw the highest gain of 0.14%, while the "Investment Index" saw a loss of 1.65%.
