NEPSE loses for third consecutive day; four companies hit positive circuit while seven scrips post turnover above Rs.1 Crore

The market today lost points for the third consecutive day today. The benchmark index lost 0.10% or 1.14 points and closed at 1129.99 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.25.93 Crore achieved through trade of 1,016,040 units of shares traded through 4,247 transactions trading scrips of 163 listed companies in the process.
NMB Bank (NMB) posted the highest turnover of Rs.3.20 Crore with LTP of Rs.384 per share. Promoter Shares of the bank (NMBPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 100,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.205 per share.
Four companies hit the positive circuit today, they were Salt Trading Corporation (STC), Ghodighoda Laghubitta (GGBSL), Nepal Hydro Developers (NHDL) and Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL). Sindhu Bikas Bank (SINDU) was today’s top loser as it lost 7.93% or 10 points and closed at Rs.116 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 0.31 points and closed at 248.91 points while Float Index lost 0.12 points and closed at 84.00 points.
