NEPSE Lost 30.05 Points: All 13 Sectors Closed Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 30.05 points, or 1.45%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,030.10 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 8.75 points for the index as well.

Today the market started with the index opening at 2060.47, hitting an intraday low of 2,024.14, and reaching an intraday high of 2,061.92.

During today's trading, there were 305 different stocks traded in 85,435 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 11,185,712 with a total turnover of Rs. 4.04 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 31.53 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.89 Kharba.

 

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 16.11 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 575.

 

Similarly, today's highest gainer is Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited (CKHL) at 10%. Following the line are Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL) at 9.98% and Nepal Warehousing Company Limited (NWCL) at 9.97%.

 

On the flip side, Himalayan Hydropower Limited (HHL) experienced the highest loss of 10%.

 

In terms of sector indices, all the sectors closed in red today. The "Hotels And Tourism Index" saw the highest loss of 3.21%, while the "Investment Index" saw a least loss of 0.19%.
