NEPSE Makes New All-Time High at 3,198.60; Six Scrips Hit 10% Positive Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 3,198.60 today after gaining 38.28 points from yesterday's closing.
The index opened at 3,172.29 and made the intraday low at 3,154.10. While it went as high as 3,220.33, it ultimately closed at 3,198.60.
A total of 36,509,751 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 21.313 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 18.204 Arba. 228 scrips traded hands via 188,454 transactions.
National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 78.86 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 498 per share. Its shares also traded the most.
A total of six scrips have technically gained 10% today, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a scrip. On the other side of things, 10.5% SBL Debenture 2082 (SBLD2082) lost the most 5.86%.
Two sectors lost while all others closed green. Development Bank gained the most 5.55% and Mutual Fund lost the most 1.39%.
