NEPSE Rebounds by 0.51%, Closes at 2,748.78 Points with Rs. 10.32 Arba Turnover; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rebounded today, closing at 2,748.78 points after gaining 13.95 points or 0.51% following two consecutive days of losses. The recovery comes after a previous session loss of 14.12 points.

NEPSE opened at 2,738.91 points, fluctuating throughout the session between a low of 2,729.67 and a high of 2,762.51 points. The day’s trading saw 21,660,639 shares exchanged from 321 companies across 101,545 transactions, resulting in a substantial turnover of Rs. 10.32 Arba.

Leading the day in turnover, Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) achieved a transaction volume of Rs. 35.24 crores and closed at Rs. 984.90.

Furthermore, three stocks hit the positive circuit, marking a strong upward momentum.

On the downside, Rawa Energy Development Limited (RAWA) recorded the day’s largest decline, dropping by 9.12%.

Sector-wise, the "Hydropower Index" led the gains with a 1.34% increase, while the "Trading Index" faced the steepest loss, slipping by 0.62%.
