NEPSE registers loss for fourth consecutive day, falling to 1128.34 points; two companies continue their gaining streak

The market continues to lose points for the fourth consecutive day. He benchmark index lost 0.15% or 1.65 points and closed at 1128.34 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.30.37 Crore achieved through trade of 1,097,920 units of shares traded through 5,328 transactions trading scrips of 165 listed companies in the process.
NMB Bank (NMB) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.3.54 Crore achieved through trade of 91,627 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.386 per share.
Two companies have been consistently hitting the positive circuit, they are Salt Trading Corporation (STC) with 125 point gain and Ghodighoda Laghubitta (GGBSL) with 52 points gain. Ridi Hydropower (RHPC) was today’s top loser after it lost 6.66% or 5 points and closed at Rs.70 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 0.25 points and closed at 248.67 points while Float Index lost 0.08 points and closed at 83.92 points.
Only banking and trading sector gained today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
