NEPSE Rises By 12.58 Points to 2,601.21 Levels: Manufacturing and Processing Index Gain 2.57%

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a double-digit gain in today's session, increasing by 12.58 points (0.48%) to close at 2,601.21. This follows a single-digit loss of 7.33 points in the previous session.
Starting the day at 2,590.14, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,604.01 and a low of 2,580.01. A total turnover of Rs. 6.25 Arba was recorded, with 72,540 transactions involving 12,982,619 shares of 325 listed companies.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 26.85 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 1,139.90 per share.
Similarly, Bottlers Nepal Limited (Balaju) (BNL) topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in share price.
In contrast, Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) recorded the steepest decline of the day, falling by 10%.
The Manufacturing and Processing Index recorded the highest increase among the sectoral indices, rising by 2.57%. Meanwhile, the Mutual Fund Index faced the largest decline, dropping by 0.46%.
