NEPSE Rises by 24.39 Points To Close At 1998.89 Levels; MANDU, SAMAJ & NABBC Increased 10% Each

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a gain of 1.23%, or 24.39 points, settling at 1,998.89 points at the close of trading today, following a gain of 8.26 points in the previous session.
Opening at 1,979.68, the trading day witnessed fluctuations as the index reached an intraday high of 2,000.55 before dipping to an intraday low of 1,970.54.
With a bustling trading environment, 320 stocks were exchanged in 45,828 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,541,017 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.40 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 31.69 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.74 Kharba.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited Promoter Share (NRICP) emerged as the day's highlight with a turnover of Rs. 30.80 Crore, closing at a market price of Rs. 281.00.
Similarly, Five Companies hit a positive circuit for today.
Conversely, CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) faced a decline, losing 5.65% to close at Rs. 1,553.00.
In terms of sector, the Five Sector Indices concluded in negative territory, with the "Banking Sub Index" leading with a gain of 3.21%. However, the "Hotel and Tourism Index" witnessed a decline of 0.44%.
