NEPSE Rises By 6.55 Points to 1,994.60 Levels: Eight Companies Hits Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 6.55 points, or 0.32%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,994.60 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 2.60 points for the index. After the monetary policy reviewed on Friday, the index has gained 141.81 points over five trading days.
Today the market started with the index opening at 1989.53, hitting an intraday low of 1,973.42, and reaching an intraday high of 1,997.12.
During today's trading, there were 300 different stocks traded in 66,955 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,637,455 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.15 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.75 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.71 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 16.04 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 361.80.
Similarly, Eight companies hit the positive circuit for today.
On the flip side, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) experienced the highest loss of 4.98% today. Followed by MLBS and CYCL at 4.78% and 4.04%.
In terms of sector indices, five sectors closed in red. The "Others Index" saw the highest gain of 1.51%, while the "Trading Index" saw a loss of 0.92%.
