NEPSE Sees Marginal Gain While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 8.71 Arba; Finance Sector Leads with 1.56% Increase

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a slight uptick today, edging up by 1.86 points (0.06%) to close at 2,685.73. This follows a previous session gain of 6.54 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,687.17, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,697.41 and a low of 2,679.78. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 8.71 Arba, encompassing 15,520,559 shares traded across 307 companies through 82,850 transactions.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 39.6 crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,419.
Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited (GMLI) emerged as the top gainer, appreciating by 9.99%.
Conversely, two companies faced the steepest declines, each dropping by 10%.
Sector-wise, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 1.56%, while the Trading Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 0.91%.
