NEPSE Sees Marginal Gain While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 9.90 Arba; Others Sector Leads with 2.90% Increase

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a minimal gain today, rising by 7.13 points (0.25%) to close at 2,765.88. This follows a previous session gain of 3.35 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,759.08, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,781.95 and a low of 2,758.84. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 9.90 Arba, encompassing 17,865,703 shares traded across 312 companies through 97,562 transactions.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 1.02 Arba, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,025.
Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited (GMLI) emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase.
Conversely, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 8.97%.
Sector-wise, the Others Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 2.90%, while the Trading Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 2.51%.
