NEPSE Sees Minimal Decline of 2.70 Points While Overall Volume Declined to Rs. 10.10 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a loss today, falling by 2.70 points (0.09%) to close at 2,818.43. This follows a previous session loss of 25.16 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,822.74, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,834.07 and a low of 2,811.37. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 10.10 Arba, encompassing 19,041,514 shares traded across 310 companies through 93,895 transactions.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 1.12 Arba, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,073.
Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited (GMLI) and Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase each.

Conversely, 10% Nabil Debenture 2082 (NBLD82) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 6.84%.
Sector-wise, the Life Insurance Index registered the highest loss of 0.80%, while the Development Bank Index experienced the highest gain of 1.86%.
