NEPSE Sees Minimal Gain of 0.13%: SONA Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 2.60 points, or 0.13%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,988.04 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 36.86 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 1990.36, hitting an intraday low of 1,976.04, and reaching an intraday high of 2,017.22.
During today's trading, there were 292 different stocks traded in 81,451 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 12,095,539 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.90 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.65 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.68 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 14.67 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 359.
Similarly, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited (BNL) hit the positive circuit for today at 10%. Following the gain are Molung Hydropower Company Limited (MHCL) at 9.98%, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) at 9.96%.
On the flip side, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) and Super Mai Hydropower Limited (SMH) experienced the highest loss of 5.69% and 5.01% today.
In terms of sector indices, four sectors closed in red. The "Development Bank Index" saw the highest gain of 1.15%, while the "Hotels And Tourism Index" saw a loss of 1.62%.
