NEPSE Sees Minimal Gain of 0.23%: Five Companies Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 4.92 points, or 0.23%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,090.64 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 9.44 points for the index.

Today the market started with the index opening at 2,095.1 hitting an intraday low of 2,086.76, and reaching an intraday high of 2,107.57.

During today's trading, there were 313 different stocks traded in 65,463 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 7,732,234 with a total turnover of Rs. 2.84 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.86 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.27 Kharba.

 

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 24.82 crores, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 696.10.

 

Similarly, Five companies hit positive circuit today.

 

On the flip side, 9.5% NCC Debenture 2086 (NCCD86) experienced the highest loss of 5.25%.

 

In terms of sector indices, Six sector indices closed in red today. The "Hotels And Tourism Index" saw the highest gain of 1.50%, while the "Others Index" saw a loss of 1.53%.
