NEPSE Sees Positive Momentum with 0.45% Gain: SONA Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 9.50 points, or 0.45%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,089.62 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 20.62 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,084.59, hitting an intraday low of 2,084.44, and reaching an intraday high of 2,116.44.
During today's trading, there were 301 different stocks traded in 92,602 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 13,477,946 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.13 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.82 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.33 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 32.78 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 527.
Similarly, Four companies hit the positive circuit for today.
On the flip side, Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) experienced the highest loss of 5.95%.
In terms of sector indices, seven sectors closed in red today. The "Others Index" saw the highest gain of 2.21%, while the "Hotel & Tourism Index" saw a loss of 0.84%.
