NEPSE Settles Today's Session With 3.02% Gain To Close Above 2500 Levels; Market Cap Inclined to Rs. 40.67 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a remarkable increase surging to 2,500 levels, closing at an impressive 2,563.43 with a substantial gain of 75.33 points or 3.02% from the previous trading day's close.
The trading day started with the index opening at 2,493.92 points, dipping to an intraday low of 2,469.56 points, and peaking at an intraday high of 2,563.45 points before settling at its closing value.
During the session, a total of 317 scrips were traded through 171,387 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 39,790,889, leading to a substantial turnover of Rs. 14.11 Arba. The market capitalization was reported at Rs. 40.67 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 13.96 Kharba.
Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) topped the market in turnover, achieving a value of Rs. 24.69 crores and closing at Rs. 588.
In terms of stock performance, six companies marked the highest gain, hitting the positive circuit with a 10% increase respectively.
On the contrary, Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS) faced the steepest decline, falling by 5.83%.
Analyzing sector indices, all sector indices ended in the green. The Trading Index led the gains with a 5.06% increase, while the Mutual Fund Index experienced the least gain, inclining by 1.11%.
