NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Gain: Development Bank Index Leads with 3.43% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed an incline of 15.46 points today, an increase of 0.73%, closing at 2,119.69 points. This follows a profit of 3.79 points in the previous trading session.

The trading day commenced with the index at 2,107.78 points, reaching an intraday high of 2,129.37 points. The index experienced a low of 2,105.83 points before settling at the closing value of 2,119.69 points.

Today's trading session involved 313 stocks across 84,126 transactions, with a total trading volume of 22,167,678 shares. The overall turnover reached Rs. 6.48 Arba with a market capitalization of Rs. 33.62 Kharba and a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.49 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the market in terms of turnover, achieving Rs.30.09 Crores and closing at Rs. 708.00 per share.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) hit a positive circuit for the day, surging by 10%.

Conversely, Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited (DORDI) faced a significant loss, dropping by 4.75%.

In sector performance, eleven sector indices concluded the day in positive territory. The "Development Bank Index" recorded the highest sectoral gain of 3.43%, while the "Finance Index" saw the highest loss, declining by 0.59%.
