NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Gain To Close Above 2100 Levels; Continues 3rd Consecutive Day of Volume Over Rs. 5 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index recorded a double-digit incline of 33.15 points today, rising by 1.59% to close at 2,115.24 points. This follows a gain of 8.90 points in the previous trading session.
The trading day commenced with the index at 2,099.77 points, while marking the intraday low of 2,086.81 points. The index saw a high of 2,115.27 points before settling at the closing value of 2,115.24 points.
Today's trading session involved 311 stocks across 74,877 transactions, with a total trading volume of 12,665,329 shares. The overall turnover reached Rs. 5.55 Arba, with a market capitalization of Rs. 33.54 Kharba and a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.37 Kharba.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the market in terms of turnover, achieving Rs. 36.30 crores and closing at Rs. 721 per share.
Five companies experienced the highest gains, each surging by 10% and hitting the positive circuit.
Conversely, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) faced a significant loss, dropping by 5.81%.
In sector performance, all sector indices concluded the day in positive territory. The "Hydropower Index" recorded the highest sectoral gain of 2.58%, while the "Manufacturing and Processing Index" saw the least gain, inclining by 0.40%.
