NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Gain: Trading Sector Leads with 6.56% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a gain of 0.65%, or 13.51 points, settling at 2,083.04 points at the close of trading today, following a loss of 23.81 points in the previous session.

The trading day began with the index at 2,073.06 points, reaching an intraday high of 2,086.44 points. The index, however, dipped to a low of 2,068.08 points before settling at 2,083.04 points.

A total of 325 stocks were traded across 65,654 transactions today. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,697,206, with a total turnover of Rs. 4.31 Arba. The market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 33.03 Kharba, while the float market capitalization stood at Rs. 11.22 Kharba.

 

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) recorded the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 22.64 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 600.

 

Additionally, Two companies hit the positive circuit limit today.

 

Conversely, Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) saw a significant decline, losing 9.13% to close at Rs. 577.00.

 

In sector performance, three sector indices closed in the red. The "Trading Index" sector experienced the highest gain of 6.56%, while the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" suffered a loss of 2.40%.
