NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss; Market Cap at Rs. 32.21 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a slight decline of 0.83%, or 17.01 points, settling at 2,031.55 points at the close of trading today, following a loss of 15.37 points in the previous session.
Opening at 2,050.68, the trading day witnessed fluctuations as the index reached an intraday high of 2,051.67 before dipping to an intraday low of 2,027.77.
With a bustling trading environment, 304 different stocks were exchanged in 44,236 transactions. The total volume of shares traded stood at 7,061,012, reflecting a total turnover of Rs. 2.48 Arba. The market capitalization closed at Rs. 32.21 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.88 Kharba.
Gurkhas Finance Ltd. (GUFL) emerged as the highlight of the day with a substantial turnover of Rs. 28.90 Crore, closing at a market price of Rs. 872.
Similarly, Two companies hit the positive circuit today.
Conversely, Two companies faced the negative circuit for today.
In terms of sector, Four Sector Indices concluded in positive territory, with the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" leading with a gain of 2.19%. However, the "Microfinance Index" witnessed a decline of 2.25%.
