NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss: Market Capitalization Stood at Rs. 28.21 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 23.82 points, or 1.28%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,829.65 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 1.39 points for the index.
The index opened trading at 1853.17 and had an intraday low of 1,821.38 and an intraday high of 1,853.87.
There were 285 different stocks traded in 37,607 transactions during today's session. 3,675,101 shares were traded, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 95.04 crore. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.85 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.21 Kharba.
At a market price of Rs. 1,622.50, Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 7.78 crores.
Likewise, today's highest gainer was Menchhiyam Hydropower Limited (MCHL), at 8.13%.
Conversely, today's biggest loss was recorded by Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited (MMKJL), at 9.94%.
All sector indexes closed in the red, except for "Mutual Fund". Meanwhile, "Manufacturing And Processing" saw the most loss of 3.12%, while "Mutual Fund" saw a gain of 0.42%.
