NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss: Nepal Finance Hits 10% Negative Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a decline of 8.24 points today, a decrease of 0.40%, closing at 2,051.92 points. This follows a loss of 11.60 points in the previous trading session.
The trading day commenced with the index at 2,059.61 points, reaching an intraday high of 2,059.97 points. The index experienced a low of 2,046.95 points before settling at the closing value of 2,051.92 points.
Today's trading session involved 333 stocks across 50,281 transactions, with a total trading volume of 8,901,195 shares. The overall turnover reached Rs. 4.05 Arba with a market capitalization of Rs. 32.53 Kharba and a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.01 Kharba.
Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led the market in terms of turnover, achieving Rs.22.76 Crores and closing at Rs. 929.70 per share.
Likewise, today's highest gainer is Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL), at 7.09%.
Conversely, Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) faced a significant loss, dropping by 10%.
In sector performance, only three sector indices concluded the day in positive territory. The "Others Index" recorded the highest sectoral gain of 0.95%, while the "Finance Index" saw the highest loss, declining by 2.23%.
