NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss; Only Trading Index Closed In Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a loss today, falling by 25.16 points (0.88%) to close at 2,821.13. This follows a previous session loss of 30.36 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,846.92, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,850.16 and a low of 2,808.75. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 10.97 Arba, encompassing 23,343,201 shares traded across 308 companies through 101,603 transactions.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 96.7 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,115.
Samaj Laghubitta (SAMAJ) and Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited (GMLI) emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase each.
Conversely, Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 6.84%.
Sector-wise, the Finance Index registered the highest loss of 1.57%, while the Trading Index experienced a gain of 0.43%.
