NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Massive 75.24 Points Gain; Overall Turnover Reached Rs. 14.25 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a double-digit gain today, rising by 75.24 points (2.67%) to close at 2,890.28. This follows a previous session gain of 49.15 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,829.12, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,890.28 and a low of 2,826.86. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 14.25 Arba, encompassing 29,166,656 shares traded across 302 companies through 139,596 transactions.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 97.53 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,323.
Five scrips emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase each.
Conversely, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 10%.
Sector-wise, the Manufacturing and Processing Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 4.79%, while the Mutual Fund Index experienced a decline of 1.27%.
