NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Minimal 2.95 Points Gain; Finance Sector Leads with 0.87% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) inclined by 2.95 points (0.11%) today, closing at 2,633.87, following a loss of 51.37 points in the previous session.

The market opened at 2,633.18 and saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,648.55 and a low of 2,611.89.

The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.34 Arba, with 53,957 transactions involving 8,939,348 shares across 318 companies. The market’s total capitalization was Rs. 43.68 Kharba, with the float market capitalization recorded at Rs. 14.51 Kharba.

 

Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led the turnover chart with Rs. 22.24 crores in trades, closing at Rs. 879.90 per share.

 

On the gainers' side, Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) posted the highest growth, rising by 10%.

 

Conversely, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) saw a significant drop of 10%.

 

Among the indices, the Finance Index recorded the highest gain, climbing by 0.87%, while the Development Bank Index suffered the biggest loss, falling by 0.65%.
