NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Minimal 3.93 Points Gain; Investment Sector Leads with 1.80% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a gain of 0.18%, or 3.93 points, settling at 2,113.27 points at the close of trading today, following a loss of a huge 22.14 points in the previous session.

Today the index opened at 2,111.67 and then made the intraday low at 2,096.83. In contrast, it went as high as 2,124.57 and ultimately closed at 2,113.27.

During today's trading, there were 317 different stocks traded in 58,483 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,330,295 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.89 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 33.50 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.43 Kharba.

 

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 20.40 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 572.80.

Similarly, Two companies hit the positive circuit for today.

Conversely, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) faced a decline, losing 10% to close at Rs. 648.

In sector indices, the Three Sector Indices closed in the red today. The "Investment Index" saw the highest gain of 1.80%, while the "Banking Index" experienced a loss of 0.74%.
