NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Minimal 4.45 Points Loss; Finance Sector Leads with 5.67% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a minimal decline of 4.45 points (0.16%) to close at 2,711.45, following a double-digit 14.08-point loss in the previous session.
Opening at 2,719.59, NEPSE fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a high of 2,726.07 and a low of 2,704.24. The total turnover stood at Rs. 8.95 Arba, with 19,181,414 shares traded across 309 companies in 90,752 transactions.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) led in turnover, recording transactions worth Rs. 33.76 crores. Its stock closed at Rs. 998.90.
Three stocks hit the 10% upper circuit, topping the gainers' list.
Meanwhile, two scrips saw the steepest decline, dropping 10% each.
Among sectoral indices, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, rising 5.67%, while the Trading Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 1.42%.
