NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Minimal 5.91 Points Gain; Finance Sector Gain Highest

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 5.91 points, or 0.28%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,076.50 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 30.56 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,071.71 hitting an intraday low of 2,064.34, and reaching an intraday high of 2,081.62.
During today's trading, there were 302 different stocks traded in 74,675 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 12,363,027 with a total turnover of Rs. 4.25 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.64 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.19 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 17.17 crores, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 668.10.
Similarly, Five companies hit the positive circuit for today. The Finance sector emerged as the top gainer, recording a substantial increase of 6.56%.
On the flip side, NIC Asia Balanced Fund (NICBF) experienced the highest loss of 5.76%.
In terms of sector indices, Six sectors indices closed in red today. The "Finance Index" saw the highest gain of 6.56%, while the "Trading Index" saw a loss of 0.37%.
