NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Significant 29.82 Points Gain; Investment Sector Leads with 2.18% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its upward momentum, gaining 29.82 points (1.11%) to close at 2,693.12. This follows a 41.43-point rise in the previous session, signaling a strong recovery.

The index opened at 2,661.63, reaching an intraday high of 2,718.95 and a low of 2,657.88. The total turnover stood at Rs. 7.56 Arba, with 15,572,862 shares exchanged across 323 companies through 76,354 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 69.19 Crores in trades and closing at Rs. 1,039 per share.

Joshi Hydropower Development Company Ltd (JOSHI) topped the gainers' list, surging 9.94%.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Smart Fund (PRSF) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.79%.

Among sectors, the Investment Index posted the highest gain of 2.18%, whereas the Trading Index saw the highest decline of 0.26%.
