NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Significant 49.15 Points Gain; Banking Sector Leads with 3.32% Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a double-digit gain today, rising by 49.15 points (1.77%) to close at 2,815.04. This follows a previous session gain of 7.13 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,786.65, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,827.15 and a low of 2,785.98. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 11.39 Arba, encompassing 26,199,780 shares traded across 300 companies through 112,032 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 96.74 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,029.

Four scrips emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase each.

Conversely, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 7.17%.

Sector-wise, the Banking Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 3.32%, while the Finance Index experienced the least gain, falling by 0.28%.
