NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Single-Digit Gain: Market Cap Surged to Rs. 43.34 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a single-digit gain in today's session, increasing by 5.08 points (0.19%) to close at 2,613.08. This follows a single-digit gain of 6.78 points in the previous session.

Starting the day at 2,608.27, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,618.99 and a low of 2,597.61.

A total turnover of Rs. 6.19 Arba was recorded, with 69,840 transactions involving 11,626,020 shares of 311 listed companies. The market's total capitalization was Rs. 43.34 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.44 Kharba.

 

CEDB Holdings Limited (CHDC) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 23.76 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 1,775 per share.

Similarly, Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in share price.

In contrast, River Falls Power Limited (RFPL) recorded the steepest decline of the day, falling by 8.96%.

The Others Index recorded the highest increase among the sectoral indices, rising by 2.79%. Meanwhile, the Trading Index faced the largest decline, dropping by 2.10%.
