NEPSE Slips Subtly to Close at 2,628.26 Levels; JFL Leads Turnover Once Again

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined by 5.60 points (0.21%) today, closing at 2,628.26, following a minimal gain of 2.95 points in the previous session.
The market opened at 2,634.49 and saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,656.08 and a low of 2,621.00.
The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.27 Arba, with 49,421 transactions involving 8,147,320 shares across 314 companies.
Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led the turnover chart with Rs. 15.59 crores in trades, closing at Rs. 917.90 per share.
On the gainers' side, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) and Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) posted the highest growth, rising by 10% each.
Conversely, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) saw a significant drop of 9.90%.
Among the indices, the Finance Index recorded the highest gain, climbing by 1.07%, while the Hotel and Tourism Index suffered the biggest loss, falling by 0.42%.
