NEPSE Slips Subtly to Close at 2,675.51 Levels; NFS Leads Turnover Once Again

In today’s trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2,675.51 points, slipping by a modest 1.88 points from the previous session. Since the Tihar Festival, the index has registered a minimal two-day loss of only 2.09 points.

The session opened at 2,679.47, with fluctuations reaching an intraday low of 2,669.19 and a high of 2,684.81.

A total of 11,600,869 shares from 320 stocks were traded through 55,238 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs. 5.22 Arba. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.59 Kharba, and the float market capitalization was Rs. 15.05 Kharba.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led in turnover, reaching Rs. 35.38 crores, closing at Rs. 1,421.90.

Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) hit the positive circuit.

Meanwhile, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) faced a sharp decline of 9.55%.

In sectoral performance, five indices closed in green, with the "Mutual Fund Index" leading gains by 1.09%, whereas the "Non-Life Insurance Index" recorded the biggest sectoral drop, down by 0.87%.
