NEPSE Slumps Below 2600 To Close at 2,595.96 Levels; NRN Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a single-digit gain in today's session, increasing by 1.83 points (0.59%) to close at 2,595.96. This follows a double-digit loss of 15.54 points in the previous session.

Starting the day at 2,596.83, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,611.38 and a low of 2,589.99. A total turnover of Rs. 5.82 Arba was recorded, with 63,374 transactions involving 10,745,427 shares of 299 listed companies. 

 

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 32.49 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 1,187 per share.

Similarly, Dolti Power Company Limited (DOLTI) topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in share price.

In contrast, Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) recorded the steepest decline of the day, falling by 10%.

The HydroPower Index recorded the highest increase among the sectoral indices, rising by 1.76%. Meanwhile, the Finance Index faced the largest decline, dropping by 3.48%.
