NEPSE Soars by 56.09 Points, Finance Sector Shines with a Stellar 6.30% Surge; NYADI Hits Positive Circuit

The NEPSE Index surged by 56.09 points (2.15%) today, closing at 2,653.58, reversing the 26.07-point dip from the previous session.

Throughout the trading day, the market experienced fluctuations, opening at 2,597.51 points, briefly dipping to an intraday low of 2,583.25 before climbing to an intraday high of 2,653.63.

By the session's end, a total of 308 scrips were traded through 69,860 transactions, leading to a turnover of Rs. 6.13 Arba with 15,046,710 shares exchanged.

Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) topped the turnover chart with shares worth Rs. 63.83 crore traded, closing at Rs. 489.

Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) posted the highest gain of the day, rising by 10%.

Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) recorded the steepest loss, falling by 10%.

Sector-wise, the Finance Index led the pack with a sharp increase of 6.30%, while the Mutual Fund Index saw the smallest gain at 0.18%.
