NEPSE Spirals Down 0.43% Today While Turnover Reached Rs. 6.44 Arba; Three Companies Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index recorded a decline of 9.32 points today, lessening by 0.43% to close at 2,112.29 points. This follows a gain of 6.37 points in the previous trading session.

The trading day commenced with the index at 2,125.31 points, while marking the intraday high of 2,127.09 points. The index saw a low of 2,106.25 points before settling at the closing value of 2,112.29 points.

Today's trading session involved 313 stocks across 77,400 transactions, with a total trading volume of 14,294,712 shares. The overall turnover reached Rs. 6.44 Arba, with a market capitalization of Rs. 33.49 Kharba and a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.37 Kharba.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led the market in terms of turnover, achieving Rs. 28.47 crores and closing at Rs. 601 per share.

Three companies experienced the highest gains, each surging by 10% and hitting the positive circuit.

Conversely, Mid-Solu Hydropower Limited (MSHL) faced a significant loss, dropping by 10%.

In sector performance, two sector indices concluded the day in positive territory. The "Finance Index" recorded the highest sectoral gain of 2.03%, while the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" and "Trading Index" saw the highest loss, declining by 1.03% respectively.
