NEPSE Stands at 2,085.71 Level After The Gain of 9.44 Points; Intraday Turnover Increased to Rs. 2.59 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 9.44 points, or 0.45%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,085.71 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 14.57 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,073.83 hitting an intraday low of 2,067.59, and reaching an intraday high of 2,087.24.
During today's trading, there were 315 different stocks traded in 66,559 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 7,624,376 with a total turnover of Rs. 2.59 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.78 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.23 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 33.76 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 704.90.
Similarly, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) showed the highest gain of 9.99%, followed by Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) with a gain of 9.42%.
On the flip side, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) experienced the highest loss of 10%.
In terms of sector indices, Two sector indices closed in red today. The "Manufacturing And Processing Index" saw the highest gain of 1.08%, while the "Others Index" saw a loss of 0.55%.
