NEPSE Surges 39.13 Points to Close at 2,621.86, Reversing Previous Losses; HRL Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

Rebounding from a 58.05-point drop in the previous session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) climbed 39.13 points (1.51%) today, settling at 2,621.86.

The market opened at 2,580.19 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,625.60 and a low of 2,579.45. The day's total turnover stood at Rs. 4.2 Arba, with 9,142,941 shares traded across 317 companies through 48,785 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 41.86 Crores in trades, closing at Rs. 979 per share.

Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) emerged as the top gainer, surging 5.85%.

Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) faced the steepest decline, tumbling 7.09%.

Among sectors, the Others Index posted the highest gain of 2.09%, whereas the Mutual Fund Index saw the smallest increase of 0.97%.
